Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of the town she grew up in. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County to California at the age of 7 years old. They was in a house that didn't have electric power. Ryder became an avid reading book because there was television. Ryder was 12 when she enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986. Ryder, who was just 15 years old, was offered an acting job as a lead actor. Ryder was bullied in high school. Her performing career, she thought, would help her. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. Still, she pursued her goal. Beetlejuice which was a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first big break. Ryder was later cast in successful roles. In 1993, Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards.
