Jillian Hennessy was born in 1968 on November 25, and is known for being a talented Canadian actor, singer and songwriter. Her contribution to American television are widely known. Her most well-known work is her incredible performances in the American television shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy has also demonstrated her talent as an actor through films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class in which she flexed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy began her acting career with her twin sister as twin call girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. She had a brief stint on Broadway as a part of the show Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990 before moving into the sci-fi world in 1993 playing Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. The big break for her came later that year when she joined the ensemble of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
